Ralph started traveling around the world when as a young man his parents took him on a trip to South America. The adventure and beauty of the mysterious place took its hold and he knew he had to visit more places of such wonder that existed across the globe.

Throughout his adventures Ralph began to acquire many unusual and unique trophies along the way some of which were old books of the region.

Combining his love of history, reading and travel Ralph then started to make a point of looking for these lost treasures among the countries he visited.

That was nearly twenty years ago, and hundreds of books have now been lovingly collected and cared for in the family. Each book is a reminder of the adventure that was once lived by Ralph. Each book has had its place on the bookshelves that line the living room for so long that they seem a permanent reminder of the world that once was.

Ralph decided to sell his collection just recently as he continues to add more and more. It is our hope that we can provide books to those who cannot reasonably travel to attain these treasures for themselves.
